Default Home made bottom grille

Was bidding on ebay for a bottom mesh grille emailed the fella he said that he would not end the auction even for the £80.00 i offered him, it made £112.00 so I thought bolox ill make one thia is how it turned out

That looks good, I want something similar on mine but the kits are a lot of money to buy so was thinking of making my own. What did you use on the edges and how did you mount it, I can see you used screws for the top but what did you use on the bottom?

Cheers fellas the mesh is from ebay just typed in stainless steel grille Mesh and there it was!!! the edging is from Halfords its black door trim £8.00 for 6mtrs
To be honest guys thats the bit that isnt pro looking its a little wobbly when you examine it but standing 5 foot away you cant tell, they do it in chrome which is what I started with but it does not bend well without creasing


Next Im going to try to debadge the upper grille and replace the top mesh hopefully it will come out allright

Debadged the grill on mine. Second hand grill of ebay, hacksaw blade, filler, plastic primer and gloss black paint. I love it but some hate the look.

does it not restrict air into the radiator?? or less air??

looking very nice, and one more thing, thats the First blobeye ive seen in Red.. Nice choice

no issues with airflow its the same mesh as the subaru one so no probs
