Recommend me an exhaust please!
The one Iv got now is starting to bug me, cant really put up with the motorway dorne now, expecially when Im leaving for work at 5am sometimes plus its causing a bit of a restriction so it has to come off.
Need something that sounds nice when I put my foot down and doesnt drone so much on the motorway and still has a nice burble.
Thanks
T.

Revolution 3" exhaust is excellent and isn't too loud at idle and motorway speeds, but sounds great when accelerating. I swapped my Blitz nur spec for one as couldn't put up with the excessive noise.
Also really good value at £314 delivered.

I had a Hayward & Scott cat back system on my Impreza. I then fitted a stainless de-cat section, and it was honestly one of the best sounding Impreza's I've ever heard...and I was regularly told that by people I met.
Here's a short video clip of it. Not very good sound quality, but you get the idea - YouTube - Subaru Impreza turbo with decat exhaust

Blitz Nur spec and Scoobysport decat down pipe on my type R...Keep the bung in and its not droney at all...put the foot down and its has a real nice crack of it.
In saying that if you take the bung out all hell breaks loose...its too much

Thanks for the response guys. The revolution does look good but 300+ is over the budget unless I can get hold of a 2nd hand one. The Blitz is definatly a "no go" unfortunatly although it is a really nice piece kit but its just too overwhelming.
Keep em coming guys!

Thanks Azz, but you dont want this exhaust as its got a restriction where the pipe work has been modified and welded so wont do you any favours in regards to performance. Its also starting to sound a bit "tinny" aswel so really its recommended for the bin

Isnt there a site somewhere that has audio clips of scoobs running on a variety of differant exhausts? If someone knows where it is then please link
Let me know what you go for Slick81 as I fancy a more distinct rumble from my old girl (the car not the mrs)

Does anyone know how Scoobyworld's Racebox compares with the rest?
The site says it's made for them by the Ninja factory and claims to be quiet for low revs and louder for acceleration by design. Good feedback too, but so do the others.

WRX, dont worry mate, you wont be alone Hayward and Scott looks the way forward.
Spruxx, Im not too sure on that exhaust. Reason being is that I had the Ninja 2 when I replaced my Prodrive one (so wish I didnt now!) and I wasn`t that overally impressed with it. Hence my reservations about the Racebox as its made by the same people.
For those of you who have the Hayward and Scott I was thinking standard shaped pipe is the way to go. Was that the one you had TerzoAlan? Anyone got that one fitted and maybe even a sound clip? (pushing it a bit arent I )
