Here's a few pics of my Spec C, I fitted a new front splitter today. The car could do with a once over with a soapy sponge and chamois but it started raining (and then snowing) after I'd done the wheels. ![Brickwall](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/brickwall.gif)

Thanks. I'm undecided on the white wheels myself but am giving it some time until I know for sure, then will get them powder coated gold or anthrasite.

BOO HOO ![Cry2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cry2.gif)
I never got so many nice coments on the car when i owned it Rich. Right about the winglets though, they would sort the front end out a treat now you've added the splitter.
All the best Bro.
Rich![Cry2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cry2.gif)
P.S DONT EVER PUT A SPOILER ON IT..........PLEASE

I know what you mean about the winglets but I'd have to drill the bumper
which I'm a bit reluctant to do. ![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Rich - the car's great, really pleased. I hear you may be buying a an STi v3 - is that right? p.s. YHPM
p.s. I won't be putting a spoiler on it, I like the individuality of it without one :-)

you dont need to drill the bumper to fit winglets.Just cut 3 small slots in it with a stanley knife and press the winglets in...job done.It really is a 5 minute job and makes the car look so much nicer instead of that WRX with a roof vent look

I haven't taken it around the Ring but the previous owner Rich S202 did, hence the sticker

You'll need a different splitter if you want to fit the winglets..!,
Can't see properly from the photo's but what rear brake caliper's are on that..? Not being funny, but they look like std 03> WRX grey twin pots with 275mm disc's..!

Rich check out Kev's mud flaps on his car next time... they would suit yours well, no metal brackets quite rigid and black in colour... best one's I have ever seem IMHO
and not expensive.
Car looks stunning can't wait to see it in the flesh.
Drop a set of rear brembo's on to balance the power in the ap fronts possibly ?

Ah, I didn't think they could be used for the road..? You live and learn I suppose..![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Also, I've just realised you already have the sti splitter. I wondered how you'd swapped it so quickly having read your thread about it yesterday..!![Brickwall](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/brickwall.gif)
IMHO yes it would look better with winglets and rear spoiler, however, the point of that car is good power to weight and whilst those items may not weigh much they do weight something..! Every mickle and such..![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Out of interest what seats do the motorsport versions come with..?

similar interior as a GX iirc ie Austin Allegro seats
they call it a throw away interior for that very reason but the previous owner has done some very tasteful mods to this in terms of interior and APs so mucho kudo to him ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
I replaced my standard low level spoiler for a Carbon Fibre high level one which weighed less than the original

Cheers for the feedback all, good to see the 'spoiler' question generates plenty of positive and negative comments.
Having been a previous WRX owner, where I replaced the low level spoiler with the Prodrive UK300 spoiler, I naturally expected to get the high level spoiler when I bought an STi. However seeing the Spec C in the flesh, I like the look of it, I think it looks understated and a bit different.
I also want to keep the weight down and as the previous guy said, unless you buy the carbon version it does add a lot of weight, and will need stronger boot hinge springs as well.
I'm going to get the side spats, I agree they look good.
