Got my Newage TMIC fitted today Much better, The thing is massive compaired to my STI v5 one,

I have had to lose my STI Strut as it will not fit over it now, not the end of the world though as i would rather a good Intercooler then a Strut,

i Dont like the look of the front mounts i prefer the Standard Look, thats why i went for the newage sti tmic,

plus the cutting of the bumper for fmic is pain in a**

Where did you get that from mate, and how much? Because I'd prefer that to a FMIC too. Was it straightforward to fit, or did you have to mod some stuff?

I got Zak a MOCOM to fit it, it involves abit of modding to fit, need to make a bracket up for the right side and buy a STI bracket for the left side, also couple of little mods to the clutch fluid resivour and stuff.

Im sure it can be, but you would have to have a search on here and find out how you go about it,

as i have seen people with Slanty type fit the V5 STI tmic

Don't think it will fit, the distance between the inlet manifold and the bulkhead is smaller on the pre-facelift cars AFAIK. Think it's a struggle to even get a V5/6 intercooler onto the early (93-96) classics.

i like the look of the TMIC when you open the engine bay, the FMIC are nice but the engine bay looks lost without the TMIC
