Well lads,
I decided it was time to dress the inside of my baby a bit so when carbon air vents Surronds, Air vents and cup holder, dash surround and window switch housings came up for sale I had to have them.
I picked them up there this evening and fitted them.
Delighted with the new look.
It was to dark for pics of them fitted when I had finished fitting them but I'll post pics soon.
Until then heres a few from the for sale topic I seen them on.

So tomorrow I'll be painting the radio surround satin balck or gun metal. Haven't decided yet but my radio is black so I think the Satin black might do the trick.
Should all look good when it's finished.
I'll take pics tomorrow.

No a friend of mine bought a new interior for his Spec C from a brakes and these came with it, his car has a roll cage in it so the bars cover the side air vents and he has his centre vents modded to house gagages so he had no need for them. Never asked him where he bought them.

I thought that it could look a bit off but it doesn't look half bad. Just waiting to spray the radio surround and see how it looks and i'll post pics. So far I think it looks the dogs. Don't think it spoils it at all. But as said above each to their own.

Well lads here's the pics as promised.
What you's think.
I got to work by removing the Radio surround and original parts which are to be replaced by the carbon effect parts I bought.
Here's the original surround removed.

I sanded it down and gave it two coats of primer.

I then sprayed it satin black three coats and fitted it with all the above parts. Have to say I'm realy happy with the result. Much better the standard.
