I've got a sliding cable on mine that controls the noise on my 3" system, but I love the remote aspect of this silencer

I bought the car with it on there. It had a cable in the interior that looked like a choke cable to alter the baffles. The cable was broken and the interior mechanism looked horrid, so I got the vendor to remove everything from the interior. All I have to do now is just reach under the silencer and slide the lever back or forwards to alter the volume, although it's always on LOUD!!!!!

I have no idea what make or brand the exhaust is, it is 3" from the front cat with no bends and ends with a 4.5" back box with the slide mechanism on the in-pipe of the back box. Any idea's?

I kow the chap said back pressure isn't an issue, but I can't help but think it would be and that fully closed the kit would cause damage.

But there again, you wouldn't be giving it large with the valve closed I guess, and normal driving doesn't create that sort of risk.

Hmmmm not decided.

I got mine from oz cant remember the company by hand but it come around to just a little under £300 with shipping and tax duty and less then 5 days to get here

Not had any issues with back pressure but i dont really leave the gate closed for long enough plus im off boost i only use it for early mornings and late nights around the house and it really is quieter then the standard sti exhaust
