You don't need an airbag for the MOT and the warning light is only an advisory. You can also fit a 3ohm resistor into the airbag socket and that will cancel the airbag warning light.
Any ideas where you can get a boss for a newage, the only one I can find is nearly £100 and that is without the dummy squib for the airbag. Are the splines the same as the classic

I had a resistor fitted to cure the airbag light until Monday when i removed the airbag sesnsors, wiring and ECU (few kg's saved) and pulled the bulb as well.

How does the insurance like it when you tell them your newage is now airbagless lol
Jon, the spines are the same on a classic as they fit the bugeye momo wheels to the classic.

fitted this a couple of weeks ago, by spine do you mean the boss kit? I think I got sent a classic boss kit, there is a hole formed in the metal designed for a wiring loom to fit through, the boss kit I had the hole was too small however as this loom was used for the airbag which I no longer needed I was able to trim it down with a knife and made it fit that way
