well i have spent Saturday down at scooby teknics mapping the car after my new turbo was fitted.
Andy and the guys have done a brilliant job fitting my new bits.Andy has gone even further by fitting new hoses and tidying up my engine bay.i didn't even as him to do this so thanks alot andy.am very happy with the work completed on my car.so today this is what i have had fitted.
1) new lateral performance hybrid turbo MD321T.
2)new aps air intake pipe to turbo.
3) remap by Andy Carr.
a big thanks to Andy as well for a great mapping session.

the car now is running spot on and the turbo pulls like a train.we did 2 dyno runs and the first came out to be 412 ish with 425 ftlb and after a couple more tweaks we had it running at 425 with maximum torque coming out to be 438 ftlb.so at the end Andy generalized the results and now it is running no less than 425 bhp - 425 ftlb torque.this has been achieved running a safe 1.4 bar boost.both andy and me were delighted with the results.
the difference between my old fp green turbo and this new one is worlds apart.the new turbo hits full boost at 3500 rpm and holds onto it till 7000rpm.this now makes for excellent acceleration.the car now pulls very smoothly when accelerating and changing gear like i say the difference is amazing.if anybody is looking for about 450bhp ish this turbo is the one to get

fitted myself

1) new spec - r washer bottle
2) new spec - r fuse relay cover
3) new wheel nuts

so altogether its been a very productive day.
