Default New Toy - Huge Fun !!

Hi guy's - I bought this last month and haven't stopped grinning

The car started life as a pathetic 2.0 8v Gti 115bhp. Last year it had a £5k 1.8t 20v turbo engine conversion.

Spec...

# 1.8t 20v Agu large port engine.
# S3 pistons & Rods.
# KO4 Turbo ( S3-TT )
# DTA E48 EXP ECU & loom.
# Bosh 440cc Green Top Injectors.
# Front Mount Intercooler.
# Forge Fast Road Closed Loop Diverter Valve.
# VR6 front slam panel with large rad and X2 low profile cooling fans.
# sfs silicon boost hoses and metal pipe work - Finished in black for factory look.
# Custom stainless steel exhaust and De-Cat.
# 5 speed 02a Short Shifter Gearbox ( 16v Golf ) with 2.9i Corrado VR6 internals.
# 2.9i VR6 Clutch and Flywheel.
# Engine brackets and Mounts (1 solid vibertech front) (brackets modified for 1.8t).
# Fully adjustable coilovers.

As you can probably tell the cars extremely quick once the powers down I've had some quick cars in my time and as some of you guys no I drive some pretty quick cars at work but this thing Is just pure grin factor - 280bhp FWD No traction control No LSD just raw power through the fronts...

It's all about the sleeper look !! The look on people faces when the cars pulling away from them is priceless - It's so different to when people wana have a play because your in an Impreza. This thing Is all about WTF !!!!

Some pic's.....

Cheers mate - The wheels were chemically stripped, primed and painted with 3 coats of Peugeot steel grey NO lacquer as I wanted the dull look.

Go for it mate - I've always gone from pillar to post between VAG and Jap.

Impreza x 4
Audi S3
Integra Type R x3
3 Golf Vr6's inc a Supercharged
Mk4 Golf Gti
Civic Type R

Now back in a Golf.. This time next month I'll be back in a Scoob..

Nah I've gotta say this Is the most fun car I've ever owned - Not the quickest my V5 Sti Type Ra wins that sprint but when the powers down in this and your moving it's devastatingly quick. I took it into work the other day to show the lads and one of the chaps I work with was taking an Rs4 home - Needless to say on the way home we had a little ding dong and I sat on It's bumper all the way down the M42 pi55ing myself laffing at his face in his rear view mirror - God knows what speed we were doing I was scared to look ...
