New pic's of '09 WRX grill Post #26
Hello everyone! I joined the site because I'm a true Subaru lover! My name is Kris, I am from Los Angeles, California and I currently own an '08 WRX. I used to have an '05 STi before my '08. I'm on a bunch of other Subaru sites and I really like this one so far. I love seeing all of your cars and the different perspective on modifying them. Well, onto my car.
Engine mods:
1. Perrin intake
2. COBB AccessPort
3. Perrin intake Stage 2 Map
4. SPT cat-back exhaust
5. Invidia Catted DP
Suspension:
1. H&R springs
2. Rallitek F/R sway bars
3. Rallitek HD F/R endlinks
4. Cusco front upper strut bar
Wheels:
1. Blitz BRW (Black blue matte) 18x8 +45 offset
2. Riken Raptor 235/40ZR18
Exterior:
1. Factory front lip
2. Factory fog lights
3. I painted the rear chrome piece on the trunk to match the car.
4. '09 WRX grill
Interior:
1. 50% tint front and 35% rear
2. STi 5spd shift ****
3. OEM armrest extension
Future mods:Not necessarily in this order
1. 255lph fuel pump
2. VF52 turbo
3. Perrin or AVO TMIC
4. Brembo conversion
5. Protune
6. 750cc injectors (just incase I go with a bigger turbo)
3. Side skirts and rear spats
Here's a pic of my '05 STi

Thanks! I will definitely keep it safe
Thanks! I do!
I know. It's weird that you guys don't get it. I sometimes wish I purchased a hatch. I have a soft spot for hatchbacks. I received an incredible deal on this car. I got it for $18,241 USD out the door. I was the last '08 at the dealer.

Looks good Kris, haven't seen many proper shots of the saloon version yet.
Have to say I was in LA (and various places in California and Oregon) for the first time recently to visit friends, loved it...shame I couldn't have my car with me! I did have a Chrysler 300SC hire car though, which was quite entertaining on the hill roads...well better than a Voyager MPV anyway

Thanks.
Yes it was. The sticker price was $25,000. I got a great deal. I like the '08 because they changed the things about the '05 that I didn't like. For instance; the frame less doors. The whole car just feels more ridged. Here's a pic of the interior.
Thanks
Thanks. Perrin does make some nice quality parts.
Thanks. I really like the hatch too.
Thansk! To bad you didn't have your car with you. Pacific Coast Highway would have been a great drive for you. The 300C is definitely better than an MPV though.

Thanks. I like it. This is what I plan to do. It's an STi body conversion for the 4 door, by Zero Sports. I hope the make the kit soon! The only thing different I would do is use the stock STi front end.

That is a lovely motor. Looks Great.
I like the silver with the dark wheels. I have an 08 Hatchback STI in silver with Prodrive anthracite wheels. I have only had prodrive springs and Prodrive performance pack fitted(326bhp).

As you can see the torque is great, but the HP suffers. I can't wait to get my bigger turbo!

Someone tried doing that and it didn't look too good. I really want to try an S202 wing. I think it would look great on my car. What do you guys think?

i agree i like either, i am sure if i there was a choice many more would have the saloon, just cant see why Subaru uk don't offer one.
