Another aggresive Scoob under construction
Just a teaser pic for now folks.
Just picked them up Friday afternoon and had my rear arches rolled at the same time as a precaution. I haven't mounted them yet as I'm wanting them all nicely waxed up first (which by the pic you can see I've started to do hahaa).

I'm just being careful with em, nerrrrrr! lol
Another guy on here has em too and in the same colour (AND his scoob is same colour as mine, grr lol) so it won't be too much of shock when I post up pics of em mounted lol.
Just worried it look like a monster truck with em, as it won't be lowered for a little while lol. So far I'm keeping my standard rims too. Probably switch between em when the weather turns naff.

Just fit them lol. I test fitted mine with no tyres!
I'm dropped now arches not rolled yet and test driving with a little rub on big dips. But i am suprised how little mine have rubbed.
Mine need a sealant session but hey i wanna drive on them. I will have them off and sealed once the arches are done.
At lease get a pic up dude.
Welcome to the aggressive club.

That sounds like a purist talking
If it does take off so be it. A lot of people don't like it which is understandable due to it being different. Some like rally decals some don't. Some like spoilerless some don't.
Depends how you get your kicks. Me personally it has to be as different as possible.
I don't comply to conventional standards and if anyone don't like it that's cool with me.

....mmmmmmm ....beavers (oops)
(any problems of note with yours Harry? - Awesome looking Scoob btw! Are yours 9" wide ET35?)
Well said that man!
- I've just got an earbashing off Mr. Splitpin for wanting to re-fit my old SSQV - My adaptor flange for that arrived today too, swapped flanges over and offered it up & I'm worried it won't squeeze in where it has to, as the flange adaptor I got is actually third party (not HKS), still waiting for 34mm bung I need b4 I know for definate. Gonna be tight methinks.
Back to topic - Pics will be up soon (he sez!) Mr. Bockett (and gang).
Is this the beginnings of the UK chapter of the 'Wrong Fitment Crew' ? lol!
Looking into those BC coilovers Bockett, how you finding them? Ride, build quality and so on? They seem a very fair price compared to some! Always wanted Teins but the're a few hundred more again lol!

It's nearing the start of a UK version yes. Leave that with me
I just need to have a chat with a couple of others about it. They know who they are.
The BC's i cannot fault. Once you run coilovers with a stretched tyre the ride is HARD and i mean vinnie jones style.

i like to think the trick is to mix it all into one
my scoob has all the factory extras
some decent after market options
plenty of tuners upgrades
a few cosmetic tweakes
a splash of weekend bling
and one happy owner

No problems at all with my 18x9 et35 g force's! I am really happy with the ride and the way the car handles. I am running 235/40/18 goodyear eafle f1 assymetrics IIRC
I set the BC's on 10/8 clicks from soft for day to day driving and it is very very comfortable!
You will have to have the arches rolled and run a healthy dose of neg camber on the rear!
Get them fitted and show us pics
Harry

Hi Harry,
I'm liking the sound of the BCs that little more every day. Which version of them do you have RM or BR?
I've actually had my rear arches rolled already (even though my suspension is still how Mr. Subaru intended) as a precaution plus I knew they'd need doing when I came to lowering anyway lol. And I'm hoping the ET38s I have will be a bit kinder to me hahaa. What have you used to set your camber with, H? Strut mounts or camber bolts?
This is my last shift of this rota (<<rota, get it? Did u see what I did there? booom booom! ) I'm off Sunday and Monday so hopefully I'll get the waxing finished and get em on lol.
...I'm open to suggestion for caliper paint colours folks, I'm actually thinking light green so far.

I didn't get the rear camber plates as i can get all the camber i need with camber bolts.
Mine is running some decent negative camber on the rear just from dropping it.

Blummin eck, look at that! <points to Bockett's rear camber>
I always appreciated the fact that lowering suspension increases neg. camber anyway, but it's good to see by how much!
Thing is both the whiteline and some other make's camber bolts I found only adjust to +/- 1.5, whereas the H & R ones go all the way to +/-3! But they're hard to get hold of!
So if that's the result just from cranking down the coilover's, that's already a good start/help (if that's the right word's to use - oooooow the oem fitment brigade won't like tht! haaaaa!) ....not that I actually want to go all the way to -3! EEP! heck no. lol
And if the paint on the inner rim surface really is that bad, then I suppose the only way to combat that would be to have em refurb'd at ur earliest convienience (once they've started to peel!) and hope that the new paint is of a better/thicker standard. Ah, well. We'll see.
And you shoulda wax'd em - impatient buggas lol (kidding!)
.....anyway, back to my waxing (for all the good it'll do me) lmao!

Jonny. When i get my arches rolled that might be to much camber considering that's from just a drop. I won't run unnecessary camber for the look. My camber bolts can go +/- camber so i may even use them to tweak it towards +.
Tyre wear isn't a great deal as it's not my daily and i have another set i'll probably run in the winter.
Scoobynood -1.5 camber should be enough as you rim is a 9" -3 is way to much.
