Default Back in a scooby(sti type r).

Heres a few pics of my new project 1999 V5 STI Type R after a quick clean today.









To do list is

1. New brake discs,pads, braided hoses & dot5 fluid.
2. Change the engine,gearbox & diff oils,oil filter & fuel filter.
3. Change the wheel colour(unsure what colour to go for) & fit new tyres all round.
4. Fit New fog covers & headlight washer jets.
5. Fit new plates.
6. MOT & Tax end of march.
6. Sort out the bodywork ie rusty rear arches.

Dont thimg I have ever seen a rusty Type R though???

I thought rusty rear arches was a common fault with the classics.

Well it sort of is, but the Type R's usually have been looked after better than normal classics and so dont seem to have any rust

Default Wee up date

Heres a few pics of what ive been up to so far.

Full inside valet .





New look front end with new crystal sidelights,crystal indicators,fog covers,grill badge & lower vents painted black.



Wheel done in black & new ToyoT1r's fitted with STI carbon centre caps & front tints removed.






New Flaps with Type R logos.




New drill& grooved discs to be fitted with Kevlar fast road pads & Hel braided hoses & 5.1 brake fulid , painted calipers still waiting on the rear disc as they are hard to come by cause they have a 190mm handbrake bore & not the standard 160mm.




Some new engine bling, few more to follow.






Some more new bits.



Cant wait till shes back on the road & then its off to the body shop.
