Anyone had more than 4 subarus in their household? ..
i was just looking through my comp and found pics of my cars..
and just wondered why i keep going back to subaru lol
u dont find people from other marquees constantly going back to buy the same car.. wierd..
note. all cars were shared between me and my brother..
heres the first car
silver evo 7
our first performance car.. turned out to be a right shed with the rear quarter being all body filler crash damaged etc.
sold it within a month at a loss for someone who tracks the cars so needed a spare donor car for bits
probs why i neveer went back to evo
next came the subaru sti version 5 saloon
this was then sold for a white sti wagon
slight downgrade, looking back at it now
this was sold for another white wagon with low miles but much better looking
only pic ive got is from the day i sold it
and here is where we are at now..
black bugeye sti = mine
and blue jdm twinscroll - brothers
i wonder what we'll move onto next..
anyone else had a nice collection of scoobs?

yeah ive heard a lot of people start with a uk turbo then go for a jap sti
i know what you mean about the sound and the rawness, its what i miss everytime i sell.. along with the fact i live in yorkshire and see lots of scoobies faily which just rub it in lol
and lol as for my cars i guess you can see how ive grown up
the black classic was standard when i got it, then i made it look hedious..
same witht he white wagon.. lol
i then had sense by the second wagon and have modded smartly with the current cars

Nice, very nice! In two years i went through about 14 Hondas including a Integra DC2 type r, a Integra DC5 type r, a 04 S2000 and an 04 CTR... I was Honda nutz lol, the one that i really wanted was a 1996-2000 JDM model EK9 CTR but couldn't find a decent one when i was looking. I've had the scooby for two years now and i love it! Plan to take it off the road next month and spend a year having the engine rebuilt ready for the 550-600 power range!
Awesome bug you got there, how does it compare to the JDM one?

yeah i have mates who are are honda mad, but they seem to contantly go back to the old vti models eg6, i think they are called. i love the dc5. but none of them go intehra , they stick with the different civic models.
the best has got to be when my mate had the civic ef9. original and proper heroes civic that
as for how the bug compared to the JDM. well the bug is a uk sti remapped to 330bhp and the jdm is 300 twinscroll.
they are pretty much level in all gears .. the initial gap he makes in 1st, for some reason i can make it up but after third it goes back to being level lol
ive basically just got to be sure i'm in the right gear when rolling, otherwise the jdm is gone lol, bugs more fun and givs better economy. jdm is easier to drive. but thats soon going to change after the remap on the jdm next weekend.

Ive owned 4....the first being a 1995 WRX.
Sold that to buy a van for work.....next came a 2001 WRX Bugeye.
Kept that for 6 months but missed the classic so sold it and bought a WRX RA
.........then a nice STI RA came up for sale so sold the WRX RA to a mate and bought this.
Was totally stock when i bought it but ended up like this.

I am on my 5th.
Started off with a 98 Uk Turbo Wagon
Next up was an 02 Bugeye WRX
Then came an 02 Prodrive Style Bug STI which I modded to 340 bhp
Next up was a standard WR1 which I wish I had kept and I still truly miss
Now I have a modded white Hawkeye STI UK running over 460 bhp which is stupidly quick but I still miss the WR1.
Fancy a change soon but doubt it will be for Scooby number 6 ......

On my 5th.
96 Wagon
99 UK Turbo 2000
00 UK Turbo 2000
03 UK STI
And the STI was so unreliable and expensive to keep running as well as not as good as a classic IMO I decided that was that - chopped it in for a CTR
Then three months later drove a friend's classic and that was that.... I knew what I had been missing.
Now got a UK Turbo 2000 again - will be keeping this one.
