I absolutely love this car and should have bought one a long time ago, recently ive had BC coilovers fitted and given it a good service including the brakes. Ready for track now

Very nice
but its an MY05 STI type UK, not a version 8 ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
You can pick up those wheels pretty cheap off ebay, worth going for if your going to track the car so then you wont damage your decent ones
(and they are not exactly expensive on ebay)

Look at things like these for the track, tyres are like new (those hit nearly 500 quid fitted) so bargain price
and these tyres are great on the track ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I think it looks great except the carbon scoop, prefer them body colour, but everyone is different, was thinking of coilovers on mine when the shocks start knocking, but couldn't live with it that low, can they be set at standard ride height

Nice looking scoob. ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Not my choice of scoop, but nice looking all the same. Love the ride height. I wish I could lower mine like that but geographical restrictions mean I can't

A version 8 "would" have been a 2002 JDM car, the version 7 being the 2001, a version 9 being a 2003, 10 being 2004, 11, 2005 etc.
One of the reasons they stopped giving them versions was the fact that the JDM MY05 or version 11 and what that "tuning company" told you was a version "8", bit of confusion
thats why its just model year and market ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Good job on the 200 quid for the wheels and tyres![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

RA stands for Race Altered, type R is a 2 door shell, the R stands for retna which is the code name for the shell.
There are a few more but not sure you want to know about those![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
