Default 18's on my Type RA

Had a set of 18" alloys lying in the garage so decided to give them a quick paint and try them out on my RA .Suit the car but i feel it handels better with 16" wheels, here's a couple pics after i gave it a much needed wash...

Pics not too clear due to dull weather -typical.

18's were my choice back in the day.
They look good on yours but a slight suspension drop would look ace

The colour and style suit, but it really needs lowering to finish it off:thumb

Looks good. But like the rest said, 17s might have the best overall balance of looks/handling.

Is this a pre-advertisement?
Make sure they are not bent when you come to sell them like the 2 out of the 4 you sold me sometime ago

The truth hurts.
Does it ruin your 'image' in SN as the good samaritan?
What story have I changed?
The fact is, 2 of the wheels were bent (had flat spots) which must have happened when your car fell in a pot hole. You could even see that with a bare eye when trying to balance the wheel!
And if you didn't damage them yourself at least get them checked when buying them and selling them again and don't advertise them as straight! Moron!
I want to warn other SN users not to buy anything from you and have every right to do so since the minimum one would expect is an apology and a partial refund for the damaged ones but you never accepted any responsibility for this.

I still say there was nothing wrong with the wheels as i ran them on my bugeye with no issues and as i said before how do i know they weren't damaged enroute to Sweden or that you didn't run into a pothole as it's your word against mine.If i had noticed or knew that there was any problems with the alloys i wouldn't have sold them -end of. Now your back on here slagging me off and bsaically wasting my time so

I doubt flat spots on 2 wheels could be caused by transport as they came with tyres and the packaging was OK so the alloy was protected.
The first thing I did when I got the wheels is to have them balanced before putting them on the car.
But what goes around comes around they say
SNetters should be aware of goods sold by you!

A feedback scheme should be in place in SN for people selling things.
This way others would be aware of potential risks buying from jokers like you.

There is a feedback scheme you idiot ,it's called 'traders score' underneath each users name ,i'd thought you would've known that as you have used this website for sometime looking at your 'post' count -or do you just come on here to slag people off ,looks like it....

Feedback left, I wasn't aware of the traders score.
And for others to remember:

https://www.scoobynet.com/showpost.p...3&postcount=12 <-- Post about them being straight edited after my reply that they were bent!!!
