Default new wheels

just got to say WOW!!!!

got a set of 18s on the impreza and I am so impressed with them compared to standard road tyres, even in the dry/wet conditions of today!!!

only complaint, is the bl00dy road noise.............

before

after - yes, its dirty, but who cares... with TRACK WHEELS - team dynamic race wheels and r888s

the final wheels - road wheels

LOL!! Sorry, but I am glad that I got them

Cant wait to see the hawkeye front when you do get it sorted

The noise I was not expecting honestly... but they are only a temp solution. I am either refurbing the old wheels for the road (in which case I need to find one more wheel, due to twist in the alloy) or I buy the 18" rotas I am going to look at tomorrow for the road wheels..........decisions!?!?! Then these are track wheels!!!

Aint happening, the price rose by 20%, so I laughed and walked away...

Leaving just enough for yet another fuel pump some even bigger injectors and the JGM to cast his spell...

And maybe a tankful of the good stuff !

Alot of the road noise can be down to the tyres too. I've just gone from 17's to 18's and although there is a slight increase in noise, its hardly noticable. Mine were noisier on 17's with Bridgestone Potenza's. Then I changed to Goodyear Eagle F1's and they were alot quieter, now i'm on Pirelli corsa's with the 18's, and again, they are pretty good.

updated - add a new pic of the road wheels to the first post

next on the list:
carbon mirrors (the little shrek ear ones) - bought
carbon spoiler - looking for s202 style
carbon bonnet scoop replacement - the grille type one (once the tmic is replaced by the fmic )

and looking again, I think I need to change the side repeaters to a dark grey colour....
