Because its only a car and not gold...............got a car drive it even its a 22b, besides maybe he can't afford a garage not have the space to build one.

Does this mean by your coments that if do not own a garage you can't own a 22b?

It drives me crazy people who buy scooby's mod and polish the nuts of them and keep thennot track or drive them in the rain and keep them in garages in winter!!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO......they blinkin rally/track cars..........made and designed to be driven.....hell how many 2.0 GL do you see farmers and there wives in? ....LOADS they use them because there solid, reilable and durable machines.

All that show shine mob you who only bring the cars out during summer driving from one gehy show to another..............of course your going to win shinyest blinkin car coz you never drive the f..ing thing!!!

Don't get me wrong I like a clean car and a few coats of wax just like the next bloke but if its dirty its ok you can WASH IT!!

My scoob has been used like a tractor, friggin awesome in the snow, ive been out everywhere, gave it a full service as its been taking some punishment, would never put it in the garage as dont see the point in having it if its not used, ok its not a 22b but i would have still used that or whats the point in having it.

Bloody hell all I meant was the 22b is a beautiful car and only 400 made, how many have been smashed up or messed with, they IMO are a bit of history in the car department and should be looked after, yes It is just a car, yes it's not a half a million pound car but still.... And yes agree it should be driven and tracked as have done to all my imprezas just implying that it should be kept in a garage not under 4ft of snow as I do with all my cars even the piece of poo forester I drive at the min

If every one of us had this attitude there would be no cars in existence over about 15 years old, as they'd all have rusted away or just fallen apart.

I'm not a fan of obsessive detailing and the whole show and shine thing, but If some of us want to keep our cars away from salt infested roads and suicidal 4x4 owners, then leave us to it

I'm sure most of us enjoy seeing an Integrale, 3 door Cossie, Escort Cossie, Audi Quattro, E30 M3 etc etc on the road now and again. The reason they're alive is because they've not always been out in all weathers doing 10k+ miles per year on the daily commute.

I've not seen a pre-facelift Impreza for weeks, so they're already dying pretty rapidly. Or they're all off the road for winter

Boys boys boys, we are all different therefore have different views and opinions and passions, it's his car therefore he is the only one who gets to decide how he treats it!

We need the mix, otherwise all our scoobies will either end up the same or we will not appreciate a mint example in years to come!

That's the best part of owning a scooby, you can have just as much fun cleaning and showing one as you can driving one like you stole it on a track! Shear pleasure either way and at the end of the day, both ways are done for the same reason, the love of scoobys!
