I ordered some genuine carbon fibre WRC mirrors before Christmas before my recent engine problem and they arrived this week.
I've always preferred the slimmer WRC mirrors compared to the factory units, not cheap but definitely brilliant quality they aligned perfectly with the existing holes. The factory mirror inner mounting screws were tight as f*ck and needed to be drilled out but that was the only problem.
A big thanks to DYL4N for 'helping' with the fitment (I gave up after the factory screws would not come out).

And a comparative view of the nearside factory mirror.

I got them from Melvyn Evans Motorsport, link as below
http://www.melvynevansmotorsport.co.uk/index.html
They service at least 4 ex WRC Impreza's and I saw 2 there yesterday plus Melvyn has his own Hawkeye ex WRC car as well.

Thanks ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Not too sure at the moment as the car is off the road awaiting repairs but they must be better than the tear drop shape, I hope so anyway...![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Those screws must have been tightened up by an inch drive air gun they were so tight
post up some pics of yours.

Nice looking mirrors, they go well with the WR blue as most carbon parts do. You'll have to put a picture up with a couple of vixens posing on the rear seat, viewed through the mirrors so I can fully assess the quality of the glass.

Very nice Ty! Am considering a set for my Spec C sometime down the road as well. ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Any reason for not getting the tear shaped ones? When you said, you had to drill the screws out, do you mean the screws only budged when you used a power tool or did you have to drill a bigger hole?![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)

The two inner screws which are gold in colour were so tight that they must have been put in by an air / power tool, they would not budge so the only option was to drill them out.

Melvyn doesn't really market them but he can get them, as a lot of other WRC goodies such as the full newage WRC rear spoiler, WRC bonnets etc. just give him a ring, he might not be there so leave a message and he will get back to you. ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
The advantage I have is that it only takes me around 40 mins to get there from my home, when I was there on Saturday he had Peter Lloyd's ex WRC Hawkeye and another customer's ex WRC Blobeye there as well; plus his own rather tasty Escort Mk2.
