Default Jap Performance Parts RB25 RWD Type R

Hi
I just wanted to post an update after our first season racing our RWD Impreza with a Nissan Skyline engine. The car is a complete mix of parts (RB25 engine and gearbox, Silvia rear end, GDB hubs and suspensions, Evo bumpers) and 2010 was a real test to see if the concept would work....IT DID! The car did 3 UK rounds, Belarus and Dubai.

Here is a link to our first video - off season report by Dan Joyce.

For those who want to see how we did it..here is a link to the whole story from the day we drove in a perfectly clean v4 type R
http://japperformanceparts.co.uk/projectcar2.asp
We are rebuilding the car to be even wider and run more power this year

Saj

Hi Guys
Thanks for the comments, Dan's done a good job with the video, we plan to have video reports during the whole season.
I hope to have the car back this week, its sitting at the docks, just come back from Dubai with a black eye!
We have a lot of work on our hands, let me know if this is the right section to post in, I would be happy to post photos of all the new work we will be doing. The main changes are to use 2.6 GTR crack and pistons, tub all arches, wider tunnel, wider front and rear track with custom wishbones, radiator in the boot and all the plumbing and air ducts to support it.

The wheels we use are CST Hyper Zero, they only come in a 114.3 PCD but look awesome! The white ones in the photos above are Enkies.

This year we would love to see more Subaru enthusiasts attend the drift events, its a great day out. We plan to run hospitality at some of the major ones and offer pit passes, day with the team and driver, lunch, t shirts, passenger ride, star in the video...just the whole experience! We should be able to run some competitions and get some tickets for Scoobynet members.....I'll keep you posted how it works out.

Saj

I'm impressed how well that Evo bumper fits, looks quite smart, definately something different.
