Default My STi cleaned, clayed and made pretty :)

Spent just over 5 hours yesterday from 10am 'til gone 3pm.

In order: hose down, shampoo, hose down, clay, hose down, buff. Lunch. Machine polish, machine buff, hand buff. Clean glass, clean lights. Hand buff again (dusty) Clean wheels, dress tyres. Clean inside. Ache. Ache.

I use:

2 bucket method

Meguiars Super Thick Wash Mitt

Bosch pressure washer

Auto Glym:

Turtle Wax Refine & Shine Clay

    Misc micro-fiber cloths

    Sponge (for tyre dress application)

The crap under the STi badge is from the old Type UK badge - I need another one cuz I jet washed it off...

The exhaust needs some TLC but I didn't bother as I'm debating whether to go for a 3.5" H&S set-up - kind of like the high polished round tip look.. what do you guys think?

Anyway, only "afters" no "befores" - didn't think

Thank you all for the positive feedback - well appreciated

Bengo - the mud flaps were on the car when I bought it, look to me like they are the cheaper PVC ones though not the nice Kaylan.
They have started curling a little so going to replace them soon. Have considered taking them off and ironing them or something - anyone know if this works by the way?

Does look absolutley mint though must admit.

There's nothing more satisfying than spending time cleaning a car and seeing the end result and if its as clean as yours its a job well done !

Yeah the exhaust lets it down badly, was going to get some Autosol today when I went into Halfords to get some new plates made but when they told me all they do is standard one size only I got upset and left

Anyway, thinking of a H&S 3 1/2" system atm, nice and shiny, rolled tip and .. well I'm not sure on the quieter part.. Thoughts?

The clay will suprise you mate, one of the most effective cleaning products I have used. Also great on all the trim and wipers etc.
