Iv been told by the bloke at the body shop not to even thing about drilling holes in the body work, he says that it can cause issues with rust. Hes going to use the 2 holes at the front that the little black plastic cover sits in then use the tabs at the rear of the bumper then cut the lugs of on the middle bits and bond it on. sounds safer to me lol

Forgot to say, I bought the arch kit new but they only come in the black with the blue tint where my has the gold tint to the paint :-(

well its up to you but the issues with rust come from not treating the bare metal after drilling.
i have done a fair bit or research into this mod before i do it and have ask around on a few forums about it.
the problem with bonding is it lifts over time due to the shape of the arch.
i know next post will be someone saying different but after asking lots of different people who have done the mod thats the general answer.

i guess its one of those things theres a few ways of doing it. The real test will be to see how each way turns out, and im sure at some point i'll msg you to say you were right lol

its not about being right im planning to do it tommorow so i cant say either way yet.
just done a bit of research into it as i do all my mods and having the bits in my garage.
the concern i have with bonding is the underside of the arch is not flat,
i know bonding stuff holds well to 2 flat surfaces as i have bonded my window spoiler on,
but there isnt really anything to bond the arch too as it is hollow apart from the top and bottom lip.

Wheels back on:

I like the Colour and the finish, They look almost flat grey in the
sun light then a dark metal finish in normal light. If any thing if I was to have them done again I migh go a little darker but im happy for now
