Default Perrin wing stiffi's

What a pile of cr*p !
Sure they look good but there very over priced for a lump of plastic that doesn't even fit. Damn things are always pinging off at the bottom because there just not long enough. Damn the holes don't even come pre-drilled.
Doesn't make me want to buy anymore Perrin product's.

Damn ,posted in wrong forum

Cheers, i will order some and give it a go. Got nothing to lose as ive tried packing it out at the top. I've tried using no nails tape but it still pings off after a day or so. For the price of these you would expect them to fit.
Will this Tiger seal make it permanent or can it be peeled off the paint ?

Im not sure if it comes off or not. I had the same problem as you, a gap at the bottom and they were not very "stiff" and to be honest looked a bit crap. The tiger seal finished the job off nicely and they dont move.

I too thought the fit wasnt great, dont realy follow the lines of the spoiler much top or bottom.

Heres how mine are fitted:-
Bolted to the upper spoiler using the supplied bolts also added the double sided tape, to help fill the gape.
Bottom part stuck with supplied tape, plus added another strip again to help fill the gape (had to by some more tape)
But once done they have been fine, thats about 2yrs ago now.

Tiger seal is a very strong bond that probably take the paint off if you didnt like Perrins.

I also tried the 2 layers of tape on the bottom. it works for a while but then i look in my rear view mirror and see it wobbeling about again. I think the wing bounce there fitted to prevent causes it to become unstuck even with 2 layers. With one layer it pings off almost straight away. The gap must be 3 or 4 mm. I even used no nails tape which is suppose to hold 20kg. That worked for a couple of weeks. Ive ordered some black Tiger seal and think i will try it. I do like the look of the fins in the wing, if i didnt these would have ended up in the bin after the third time of fitting them
Thanks for you help guys

I'm glad I've just come across this thread...I was just about to shell out the best part of £200 on a full set of 5, but I certainly won't be bothering if they don't fit as they're supposed to and you have to start improvising and bodging them.

Mine are just stuck on with the double sided tape that came with it and not bolted on at all.
Been on there for almost two years now with no real issues.

I know what you mean about the bottom bit though, not a perfect fit, the guy that fitted my spoiler, positioned them at a very slight angle so it was jammed in place when the top blade was fitted.
