Default Reversed inlet and rs500 fmic set-up

Wanted to get the shortest route possible for the fmic pipes,so had a go with an airtec rs500 cooler which worked out spot on after a couple of alterations.

Neat, is it bolted at the top (ends) to each side of the top headlight panels so it acts like a slam panel for ridigity?

Where's your rad though?

Thanks for comments, frayz,i just hope it works ok lol.

Yes the cooler is bolted to the slam panel,it has brackets welded on the underside with bolts straight through.
The rad sits a tad lower, you can just see the pipes, well at least see the -6 braided pipe and fitting on the left of the rad top that runs to the header tank.

I think its an awesome idea. Funny enough i actually thought about doing it when i first got my scoob, as i had just come from a Cossie and the 500 cooler is perfect.

I didnt wanna remove my aircon so left it as is.

I think it will work a treat and looks super neat. Great job Pete

Looks neat but won't the heat transfer to the inlet manifold and in particular the inlet pipe it is resting and therefore a waste of time going to the FMIC?
