I will tomorrow as my omp floor mounts and side mounts turned up today so i will when their in tomorrow, its just mocked up in the pic.
I have just taken out most the trim and rear seats, dont want to take it too far at the moment incase i return it to standard to sell.
Its just a bolt in cage, sparco seats and harnesses.

Yes mate, bought a classic cage off here, then had to knock about a inch out of the rear bars and bolted it in. Couldn't find a bolt in for a blobeye anywhere. Its a bit of a fiddle drilling and getting it to fit but worth it. I'm going to add extra door bars and a diagonal bar across the back.
i will probably return the car to standard if i ever sell it so it was a must to use a bolt in.

lol yeah! And to fit further bars they just bolt onto what you already have? It sounds like a kit that you can keep adding to. I like the sound of this!

I know a safety devices cage has weld in mounts then you bolt to these nut this lit is meant to just bolt straight to the floor
Could it be more dangerous than standard?

no mate just bolted with thick steel under the floor to spread the load. Realistically i'll probably end up with a full weld in cage but for now i gathered this would be ok as loads of people seem to use these ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)

I am sure that if the plates are thick enough and the bolts strong enough (for sheer and tensile stresses) then it will be ok. Personally; I would weld the plates in. Does the cage go through the dash or drop down by your knees?
Does the front bar run straight down or dash dodge with a bend. If it's the type with the bend then there is another weak point there. If you roll it over the bar will bend at that point.
I'm not trying to be all doom and gloom here (although it may appear that way). I would rather you were safe if the worst happened. A small off and the cage will be fine i'm very sure. It's that heavy impact in which the cage is going to save your life that really matters.
