My new ride! Type RA bugeye!
I paid my friend to go over to the UK and buy me this car, all I can say is that it's STUNNING!

It will remain as RHD, it's OK here as long as I replace the headlights.
It has DCCD but they have not installed it yet, don't really know what I need to do to install it.
Yes, the Twinscroll conversion makes it FAST!!
Midlife...... : What was bad about the Bug RA? I've searched a lot but never really found why.
About the mirrors, I have a lot of $$$ to spend before I replace those

I know Syvecs can control DCCD
Bug Type RA has been equipped as only one with VF34 and has have DCCD box too with oil cooler

The Bug RA signaled the end of the "Race Altered" line of imprezas as it was really nothing more than a slightly warm version of the STi........ Not the hard core / rally / short geared beast that was expected. Even worse it didn't trounce the Evo of the day.
Subaru binned it and retired to lick their wounds and brought out the Spec C which was much more like the RA's of old

I don't know who did the twinscroll conversion really, but I love the sound of the car and it pulls great!

Ah OK! Lucky for me, the car has quite a good spec-list, so hopefully, I'll se a couple of Evo's in the rear this summer
