Default The Problem with White Wheels

The car has become a daily hack doing 250miles a week so it gets a little mucky, so before the hose-pipe ban kicks in...

Before

And after a little clean...

I know mate, which is why the first thing I'll buy if I win the lottery is a nice set of brake-dust grey alloys

Hi Jon that's why we are went with Hyper Black colour(off course with help from MSOC tyre supplier Mags) on our alloys, keep them clean is just pain, yes on Hyper Black brake dust is seen'd but not that much as on white and really depends on pads(we are running the DS2500 and they're dusty)

That is loverly!

Saw you coming through Denham under the railway bridge a few weeks back, that colours unmistakable

My wheels are white too, a right pain in the posterior to keep clean need to try some of that smartguard / g3 type paint treatment on them and see if that will make them easier to rinse off without the inner rim staying filthy? There always a scummy rim behind the spokes otherwise, probably the same with yours

I've already spotted some in-grained brake dust - it's a losing battle but I could hit them with some G3 and then coat in poorboys but I can't be bothered anymore

Im a big fan of the Planet polish wheel seal and shine, the dust would actually blow off with a air line rather then a wash every time.
