Default Wolseley 9 1935 saloon Detailed by Distinctive Detailing sheffield

I was contacted by the local classic car collector i do some work for to have a look at his new purchase, this old wolseley 9 had come straight from his dealer friend and was described by the dealer as as good as a show car can be:crackup: it arrived mucky, dusty, muddy etc all the things a show car arent. The customer just wanted a general freshen up.
This car wasnt washed as such due to it mainly been made of wood and the brakes etc not wanting to cease up customer request(old cars)

so upon delivery

so once inside it was time to look at the paint

after just 1 pass

checking out how much paint on this

as you can see with my pad

the essential tool kit

the roof was treat with some vintage roof refresher

after

interior was cleaned and leather treat to keep going for another 77 years

bits of chrome polished

temp gague

engine bay given a hand polish were i could get to

time for a wax and final shots

wheels all polished by hand

out in the sun just as one very happy owner collects

thanks for looking

That a pretty special motor - I'd hate to machine something with paint as old as that could be but great job again
