I've got a hawkeye sti in black and it currently has the standard gold wheels. I want to change the colour of these. I'm sort of half decided on black but was after opinions of people who have done this before and any pics if you have them please?
Not sure wether to go anthracite or matt black or gloss black. Opinions will be greatly received as I want to get this done asap
Cheers ste

I'm tryin to make it a bit more. Not so in your face, if you get what I mean so I feel a white may make it stand out a bit to much as much as I like it. I'm definatly warming to anthricite as I love the whole rb320 look.

Hi mate, ours are anthracite, just personal opinion and the fact most seem to have gone for black we wanted something different. There are pics of our car under our profile if you want a nose.
Hope you get yourself sorted

oh my god that top picture with the silver wheels is gorgeous, where did you get the red detail from for around the grill as well please? i like the silver as well but the gunmetal or anthracite looks that little bit sharper, am i right in thinking the gunmetal is not far from anthracite anyway?
that sti is absolutely stunning. i was going to get a splitter but dont think it will go with where i drive

cheers mate, top red grill was home made, I just took apart the centre grill and gave it a coat a plastic coat, small can from wilkinsons works well. Silver rims are my spare set (im selling lol) from a spec d, the gunmetal ones have been powder coated, not sure of the colour used but work well on the car, not to dark but dark enough, not much shade difference in gunmetal and anthracite,
