looks great fella, i have the exact same set up.

i also routed the ipod cable into the centre console and made an ipod bracket then installed an extra 12v socket in there for phone charging.

the sat nav unit is excellent.

I love that gloss black plastic look with a red button!

I'd get a rubber seal of some sort to plug that ugly hole in the glovebox though

I know tubbytommy, you were the one who convinced me of this set up in my past threads.
I have an " I Pod" lead in my glove box to which I will add an " I Pod Touch " (when my funds recover) , and I will then be able to remove my CD collection out of the car.
I must say I love your car, and I try to keep up with the progress of your mods. Incidentally how is your front mount intercooler, and have you done anything else, that I may have missed.

No further progress as of yet, Fmic has been on a couple of weeks, I did some off boost driving to make sure all is well with no leaks etc and it was so next job is headers and exhaust.
I went rally day at coombe yesterday so nothing has been done to it this weekend.
Where did you locate the gps receiver?? To get mine out of sight I mounted it under the windscreen wiper plastic cover.
Not sure if you upgraded the speakers too as the standard ones are very poor.

Same old speekers for now, and the installers fitted the GPS receiver in the corner of the dash under the tax disc holder, its really difficult to spot, and it is certainly accurate at positioning the car, and I also only yesterday, noticed that they have mounted the speaker by the sunviser, which also works really well, while also not being intrusive.

No, I only wish I had your talents, I bought and had it fitted at the Car Audio Centre, and I purchased my gauges at Scooby World who also installed them for me.
