Very true you are! Its due a service so I need to get that done and then will start changing bits and bobs. Out of interest how does everyone rate the standard brakes? I was expecting them to put me through the windscreen but to be honest I'm a bit disappointed with them. Not sure if they could just do with some braided lines and a fluid change etc..

Lovely motor mate and great colour

I thought exactly the same about the brakes but the Brembos are more than adequate! It's quite a lump after all!

Enjoy the ownership matey

Cheers guys i appreciate the comments! I'm definitely going to start by new discs, pads and braided lines.

Are there any regular meets that happen in the south east? I want to have a good nose around some other Scooby's for inspiration!

Check the MSOC or ESC sections for meets in the SE

Also worth speaking to Alyn at AS Performance regarding brakes

Well i am half way through fitting my first few mods! Which are the much needed sound system upgrade. I have put in a double din Sony headunit and have new front and rear speakers that should be arriving today. Also i'm going to De tango the headlights and paint them satin black over the weekend.

How much we'd all agree the standard sound system is pants, you should defo look at a stage 1 performance upgrade to your scooby. You'd wish you hadnt done this first its a great mod to have on a standard.

Yeah the power upgrade will be coming very soon i just have to wait to get the car fully serviced first as its due a cambelt etc and im not happy with the brakes at all so that will be getting done at some point in the next week. Then the power and handling mods will come rolling in!

On all of my previous cars i only usually concentrate on performance but i couldnt bare to drive the car with the standard sounds, pretty sure i have one speaker blown its so bad!

dont forget you will (may) need the spacers as there isnt enough clearance beind the door for the larger speakers.
