Default Ready for Remap BY Simon@JGM

Cleaned up and all ready for Simon @JGM to do his thing on Thursday. Absolutely ****ting myself to be honest in case anything goes wrong!!

After the map, it'll be off the road when the tax runs out at the end of october. Get her sorted to the standard i want.

And my effort at refurbishing the calipers:

Lacquer peel on the pasenger rear door caused by the valeter at my previous work, using a pressure washer to high. The shadow/halo ring is a shadow mate.

Thanks, hope it does go well as nervous as anything

Am sure it will be fine. What mods have you done prior to the map?

Previously had a Ecutek map done by Bob Rawle way back in 2003, so think it's over due a update.

Not much really, just a 3 inch Hayward and scott decat, Large cone filter, 3 port boost solenoid.

After the map ill add a warlbro 255 LPH fuel pump, silicone coolant and boost and vacuum hoses all over, FPR with possible larger injector's ~(depending on duty cycle)

Then a map tweak as soon as i get them fitted.

I think Simon prefers all wheelnuts to be in place before it goes on the rollers, let alone for the road test afterwards!

Aye the rust starting is the next job on the list after the remap and also be done along with a clutch and flywheel, on the project thread it shows it a bit more and also the problem with getting BEAR scotland to acknowledge that a illegal maneuver going around a roundabout is still illegal even if your in a gritter , causing damage and a possible accident. and therefore are liable to damages.

Phew

Brilliant day and a massive thanks to Simon Roe aka JGM and to Russell of BHP developments to organizing Simons trip up and allowing me and a few other's to "Brighten" up his car park.

Car feel's a whole lot more responsive, certainly goes like stink now and a lot more progressive.Found out the HG's are a little bit thin ( Look newish so replaced not to long ago, no history of it), however it doesn't seem to be doing any harm.

Confirmed she's running 333 BHP and 312 F/b TQ,

Big thank you again and certainly recommend both Simon and Russell to carry out any work. Top lads

Your car sounded lovely on the way home
Was good meeting everyone yesterday and would also like to thank Simon and also wuz for fitting me in, my car is like a different car now, very pleased with it now and all the previous lumpy running off boost has gone, and also a huge bit extra power
