Spent most of yesterday detailing my black hawk Sti, with most of the help from Scott(Maydew) and endless cups of tea from his soon to be wife Laura Started about 10,30am and finished around 5.30pm!!!
Here are the pics of when we finished!!
Here are some pics while deatiling!!!! Snow Foamed(always wanted a white hawk) Suspension looks high in the above pics, as we jacked the car up to clean under arches!!!
Scott(Maydew) machine polishing, paint had plenty of fine scratches from previous owner cleaning the car wrong!! And Applying the polish!!!
Was hard work, Black shows up every little mark, Drove it down the road, and all the little area's where the water where sitting had dripped and went down the side of the car, So when I got home I had white water marks down the side of the car!!!
Thanks again Scott for spending most your day on the car!!!
Credit to you buddy, lot of hard graft gone into that with fantastic results..!
Yours not to bad either mate!!!! Really wanted a white hawk, But JDM twin scroll Hawks are as rare as hens teeth, and white UK cars all come on 07 plates with the high road tax!!!
Yea £500 road tax is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow, but like you said white JDM are hard to find, was going to bring my own in from Japan, found a gem but the pound was so weak against the Yen 4 years ago I would be paying about £25k for a 4+ car which was out of the question..!

You need to get an air blower to blast the water out of all the nooks. The neighbours will think you're properly nuts when it looks like you're drying your car with a hair dryer!
