Is that the road into/out of Soller (?) on the west of the island - if so I've been up and down it. Great fun it was, in hire car, although the g/f felt sick on the way up and the brakes were smoking like crazy on the way down......................

Yep ive been down it in an XR3i cab hire car about 5 years ago there wasnt much left of the hand break at the end of it.
The only thing at the end of the road is a small beach and some cafe's
This is the hire car
and this is the end of the road (with the GF thinking WTF have you bought me down here for )

I too drove down this road 2 weeks ago. I daren't tell you what I was in though
The road is called 'Sa Colabra' (the Snake) and goes down to a small harbour on the North coast of the Island
Awesome piece of road and it's just been resurfaced. I believe the Historic Rally is going to use it next year but only uphill. Apparently it climbs nearly 3000 feet from sea level
