Its a Twin Turbo Toyota MR2. A friend of mine has one of in red pushing about 560HP.
The guys hands are that color because he is wearing some latex gloves to keep his hands clean.

Hpirally> I think they're referring to the scoobyscoop turned backwards on the hood...
Jimmy> It's to create an underpressure and suck the air in. I've seen it on scoobies aswell, doesn't look good!

You'll probably find that it has a boot mounted Intercooler - a lot of the MR2 Turbo guys mount the intercooler in the boot, and feed it through to the engine bay. The floor of the boot then has grills in to feed the air from underneath the boot space.
The Scooby scoop will more than likely be for any hot air to escape.

Dreamweaver> The fans are used to blow air on the IC or to evacuate air, like sucking it up so more air can pass through the IC or what?
I don't know if the air can be let out of a scoop that is pressurized(The underpressure created when moving sucks the air in), if u know what I mean. Couldn't it be that the scoop is for takin the air in and the outlet is placed below the trunk?
But now I realise that on our Saab there's a fan on the backside of the IC, so you're probably right....

PS. F*ck grammar!

One thing more, how come I've seen it on scoobies on the net with the same thing? There's one styling company, can't remember the name, but they've turned the scoop around on a scooby styled with one their kits. The reason there MUST be underpressure, and they believe it's more effective.
Could it be more effective? I don't remember if that scoob had a frontmounted IC though.
