Default Help needed anyone recommend a Gearbox place??

Hi guys i'm getting a little worried about the box in the Leggy as it has a bad resonating sound if using the gears to slow down and if I change gear fast or at high rev's its starting to crunch!?!

I would rather get my box recond than payout for a second hand one and not know how much life its got in it?

Help would be much appreciated please help

Russ!

MIDDLESEX????
Sorry I keep forgetting how big the MIGHTY MSOC are getting was looking at local.

I'm actually just in NW London but I don't mind taking the box out and driving it somewhere that is well recommended. Would you have a ball park figure or guess what i'm looking at paying to recon?

Cheers!

Russ I'm pretty sure I still have all the axles out of MY02 WRX sittin in my shed and you can have them gratis... I did have the rear diff and prop, but I think I dumped them. Will know more when I move house in a month and have a clear out, but you're welcome to the axles extra

depends on how much all the stuf you need from an impreza will cost and and the labour to fit all of it, maybe the recon box and fitting would work out cheaper

Must be someone breaking a legacy out there somewhere

Its not that TBH Rich gave me a cracking fitting price If I could I'd rather recon mine but rich has said the cost would be stupid and grabbing another box from a Leggy same age it's prob gunna be worn too so was doing the Imp uk bit as more popular and gearing is better too! its really just the money stopping me

I'll get it sorted thanks for your help guys and keep ya ears and eyes open for me gents!
