Default rattly follower?

hi
i've got 1 follower/tappet that is just started rattling/tapping it stops after about 2-3 mins but how harder job is it to do does head need to come off? or can it be done in situ,if in situ how hard do i need little hands or not any specialist tools? any advise would be helpful

Heads don't need to come off, but I undertand the cams need to come off to allow access to the shims. Speak to FB as he measured my gaps.

im pretty sure can be done in situ just very tight

Spot-on, I had the cam oil seals and several other bits done with the engine still in situ - juts very tight. You'll need to take out the battery, airbox and washer bottle to give you access.

Rather you than me, but it's only a matter time until I strip all those bits out just to change the plugs
