Default anyone fancy giving me hand or advice on fitting a fmic to my bugeye

as title thinking of fitting it i got the used intercooler and pipework from jura just need to fit it any advice or help thanks steve

im a very good mechanic my self by trade i must add,never done one myself finding the time to do is a pain,im a bit of a perfectionist myself like rich so even a little job can take me ages i wont bodge it and it has to be right just any tips on doing one steve out of intrest if rich is reading this could you pm me a price on fitting my pink injectors,walbro f/pump vf35 turbo and fit front mount with a re map as im finding im very pushed for time as work busy pm mate steve

If your a good mechanic by trade then none of the jobs above will be a problem for you Steve,keep the costs down and all that
Main thing to remember is to not have the pipe up against anything as every time you come into boost they move[and a fair bit i might add] so it can quickly lead to problems especially where the pipe comes up by the bottom radiator pipe as I've found out the hard way

thats why Richard does my car
and I do the business work

If your worried about not wanting to bodge it yourself I can do that for you and I'm sure Ricky will be willing to lend a hand with some cross-threading

Seriously though, I'd add another vote for Rich if you ain't doing it yourself

thanks i know i can do all of the jobs above apart from the map its self its time and i can only do weekends,and dont want the car off the road for ages to miss meets and uxbridge show etc as my job is very demanding,but ill have to see if rich not to expensive,ill have to way things up,i would say to do front mount a days work or am i kidding myself

Days work tops, allow a weekend if you want to do the pinks and VF as well do it with a time agreed for the remap the following week and you'll be carless for a couple of days

Like Jon above says it's a weekends work for all the jobs and arrange the map for the Monday evening and jobs a good-un

Hi STEVE i have just done all you have to do and there is nothing that it to hard for you just use new gaskets on the turbo i tried to reuse the turbo - uppipe gasket and i had to take the turbo off again steve do u have a sti fuel pressure reg i have just taken one of you need it good luck

i have not got a sti regulator im guessing i will need one steve

I'm not sure you do if you fit the pinks to allow enough fuel for the VF, I've certainly seen no reference to this being needed before
