......the thing is that, well to put it frankly, We have not really done much in the way of meets over the past few months 
Now i'm quite guilty of it myself really, you know, read about a meet, get drunk the night before and the day of the meet is a little rainy so you stay in bed instead. You know what I mean 
Now over the past few days, I have been fortunate enough (due to my job) to find myself on little country lanes with the sun blazing but the air really cold
These cars are bloody great and i found myself thinking, "I need to do this more"
Spring is almost upon us, we live in a terrific area of the country and i figured that we should use the meet on march the second to meet up and start sorting out what we should do with our summer evenings.
A few years ago, i knew pretty much all of the Nott'm group, but now, the group seems HUGE
Do me a favour guys and gals, Stick ya name down on this post if you are from Nottingham/Mansfield/oh go on then Derby and if your e-mail is not right in your profile, can you e-mail me a current one. Ta
Here's to a cool summer (Well not literally you understand, just a figure of speech, whilst cool would be good for intake temps etc, it isn't good for sitting by the river of an evening and ......I'll get my coat)

Hello, Mr Mikey - I'm still around! Just don't get out much now days, what with the Arthritis and dodgy back and me farmers are playing me up as well, I can't sit down long enough in me car to go anywhere.......................................... .

Excellent idea to use the meet on the 2nd to chat about this.
Stop calling it Notts though ! Why not call it the East midlands meet ? That would be fair and gives us loads of places to meet

Steve, have you seen the size of east midlands
Secret of successful, regular meets is simplicity. Once they are self sufficient THEN we look at successful less frequent larger meets encompasing a bigger area, then when they are self sufficient we look at annual MASSIVE meets (ala Big one and the currently being organised Northern Big One ) and after that............THE WORLD

I'm still here, without Scoob and without job in a months time
Still, if I can get something sorted soon, then I will have the funds for the sensible car and silly car so I can still turn up to meets
Just difficult for me to get to some at the mo

Might try and scab a lift with Flat 4 Chris for the 2nd March meet just to bump into some people again
