Blackpool Big One - Illuminations Charity run?

Please post on here if you are interested in a Midlands convoy up to this family event, probably starting on the M6 at Keele to get the East & West Mids lot together.

Just extending a warm invation to anybody who's interested to ..
The 'Blackpool Big One' as its now been called.
Last year, i organised this event , purely by chance, and we ended up having 65 Subaru's...This year, has generated loads of interest, and so i have decided to have another crack at it...so
The date is Saturday 9th October...
The plan is for a meet up, at Halfords, Squires Gate Road, Nr Blackpool Airport, at 6- 6.30, before heading on a drive thru of the lights at 7.30pm.
This event has met with the approval of the Halfords as land owner, Blackpool Police and the Blackpool Tourism board.
At the moment we have around 70- 80 confirmations....it would be nice to see that number hit 100+
The event is also being run as a find raiser for charity ...... if all can donate £5, at the main meet point, we have the potential to raise £500+
If you are interested, please come and take a look at the post in the Northern section.
I will be starting a new post with all the confirmations and full routes etc, in the very near future..... But for now, the date, time and venue is confirmed
This is not a cruise, its the biggest meet of Scoobies outside of the NBO

We have got a pre-meet at M6 northbound Charnock Richard services between Preston/Wigan...at 4.45pm, for a 5.15 depart for Blackpool.
Hope to see some of you folks up there.
