AVO for those who are not aware stands for Advanced Vehicle Operations and is the factory where the AVO Escorts and Capri 3100 were built up until 1974.

I am the Organiser of the Clubs main event of the year, National Day which is held at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth about a mile from the junctions of the M6, M1 and A14.

You will see the biggest collection of MK 1 Escorts and (some Capri 3100's) from the AVO works that you can imagine.

I have some real interesting Guest Car Clubs coming too.

Its a great day,£5 entry, Childrens entertainment is free all day and there are guest Speakers, Traders and food available.

If any of the Midland groups are interested in coming on June 19th please let me know and I can set aside some special parking for you as a group.(No Boom box stereos though!)

It really is a nice day, gates open at 0900.
