my apologies for my overtaking manoeurvre. was concerned at getting left by Chris in the P1 . could not overtake you and this seemed the only option. tested your brakes though !

Not a problem to me really...I'm used to people not seeing the Elise... but it makes me wonder what would have happened if you met yourself coming the other way...
Even worse... an Elise, Westie or Caterham. The low roof means you dont seem them coming over ridges and crests until you're basically on top of them....closing speed of 100+mph (more like 160mph) and however fast your reactions re, you'll never move 1.5 tonnes of Subaru out of the way in time.
I'm not lecturing mate, but at the end of the day, drive through that area of Wales (I do....a LOT) and you'll see probably about 50 sets of flowers and crosses by the side of the road... most of which just after blind corners or crests. Chilling really.
Hope you had a fun driv, that MY01 certainly shifts!
