Hi All
What a fantastic turn out we had on Sunday. Not even the weather put you lot off. In total we had 50 ! yes FIFTY!!!!! Impreza’s, 1 x Skyline GTR, 1 x EVO 6, 1 x 16v Clio, 1 x Astra and a crazy Cossie 205 pug.
We also had sweet cars from TSL and Scoobiemania showing what you could spend your hard earned cash on.
The Coventry guys all met at the Chinese on the A5 at around 1pm. As I drove into the car park there were already 10 cars parked up. At 1.30pm we made a move to set off in convoy towards Leicester, as we were leaving the Chinese the Northants guys joined us making a 25 car convoy. My best memory of the convoy was seeing the facial expression of the driver in a Sport Wagon oblivious of the meet whom couldn’t believe what he was seeing travelling in the opposite direction. A real Kodak moment!
Here are the pix you have been waiting for…..
Hope this works as I am using a new uploader

Special Thanks to.
Darren and his wife for feeding us all after the meet, great spoilings guys.
Everybody who attended for making it such a great meet.
Q.
How about running this meet every quarter e.g. winter, spring, summer and autumn ?????
Anybody interested ???
Cheers
Neal

Mine's the silver WRX right in the corner (next door but one to trouser's subtley stickered rolling TSL advert )
Once a quarter sounds great, not sure the local residents would agree though!
Cheers

That's because he's busy on thursday and can't defend me, so he's having the case adjourned to a later date
oooooh, by the way, he says i could do with a couple of character references who can guarantee how safe and slow i drive, so has anyone got the number of the evo 6 driver
and for **** sake, don't mention the flames to him
see ya'll soon
Darren (007 shaken, but never stirred )

Hi All
Glad to hear you all had a good time . It was great to finally meet you all and put some faces to names. I am sorry that I didnt get chance to speak to you all but I am sure I will catch you at the next one. Hopefully we may look at doing this every quarter so keep your eyes open in the Midlands section closer to spring time.
In the meantime you are all welcome to come and visit us at the monthly Coventry area meet, usually held on the last or first Sunday of the month. Next one looks like it could be at Coombe Abbey but have to check out a few details first, also got to see if Darren can behave himself .
Nigel check out the first post on this page, Darren has answered your question m8.
The only problem with these meets is the cheque book tends to suffer a pounding adding more goodies to my Scoob.
See you all at the next one

according to Tony, the Dimma 205 2.0 Cosworth (original may I add) is shortly undertaking a lot of work ie; bodywork and painting, full clean up in & out and wheel refurb, should be ready in 2/3 months and will be up for grabs
unique car you must agree, very rare
still not a scooby though, is it?

You can get Splinters from any kind of poorly cut wood.
Spliters are a different kettle of fish
The owner of the Silver car you are talking about is Rob555. He never brings his car out long enough to use his brakes
Cheers
