Just moved to Milton Keynes
wow, everybody drives so fast and no cameras? I like the way things are done around here.

Welcome to Sn and MK. MK is very nice how it is laid out with it grid system.
Yes there are speed cameras, but mostly mobile units, so be warned. Also watch out for carriage speed changes i.e. Grafton Street.

I will take a look at that. Away for the weekends though. Whats good to do in the evenings around MK? Are the best bars and resturants around the theatre district?

Unlikely to be breaking the limits though, seems like 70mph almost everywhere? Am struggling keeping up with the average MK driver and a diesel at the moment

welcome, i am from mk and i love it here! the other side of town would take u a day to walk , but as u can drive pretty fast here i can get over there in about 8 mins! thats neath hill to westcroft! prob do it faster if i tried!
there are loads of places to go in mk, there is the new Hub , not been down there but my 18 year old has and he likes it , and also the theatre district!
Im trying to organise an mk meet looking for a nice pub where we can have a little get otgether in the winter time, in the summer most seem to like to hang out down at the hockey stadium near the train station, its ok but not ideal when u have a 3 year old in tow! into next year as the weather improves i thought it would be nice to arrange rides out , maybe dunstable downs, would be a nice drive out , plus we can all do a bit of something down there and get to socialist as a group! kite flying ball games i dunno open to ideas at the mo!
anyway will update more when i know! in the mean time enjoy the grid, and dont get caught speeding! oh and steady on the roundabouts, tyres wear quick here!!!
