I can't see how she is frustrated with the pace of the investigation when she refused to answer the question the police asked her
And she she was told that her refusing to answer will impeded the investigation....

I dont feel sorry for them at all...
Leaving children unattended in a foreign country whilst you **** it up with friends is not good parenting..
If they where from a lower class background they would be vilified and flung into jail.

Are they held in high regard as such, or for some reason do the press genuinely believe they weren't involved in her disappearance (or whatever has happened) and are just clutching at hope of there being some conclusion to this one day?
I don't think anyone could possibly deny that what they did was hugely irresponsible, but if that is the extent of their crimes, perhaps it's just a case that the media etc. don't want to punish them any more than they are probably punishing themselves???

I think there are a lot of unanswered questions, most of which she has refused to answer.
Then there is the blood found at the scene and in the car etc etc
Apparently, their kids spent that day in the hotel creche - did they spend any time with them on their family holiday.....?

The idea they had something to do with their daughters death has to include in a moment of extreme stress - they accidentally killed their daughter - that they successfully managed to hide the body.
You might just get away with it if you knew the area well and knew where you could hide a body. They were on holiday in a foreign environment and they manged to dispose of a body. Don't they have other children as well that were with them? So they also managed to hide what was going on to the other child (or children)
Thats a big ask.

As had been said elsewhere, if they weren't educated middle class professionals, the media would have given them the lynching they still merit

I think you are probably right.

Unlike council house, low wage earning, normal individuals who would have been locked up for neglect.
This is either the best scam ever or a multi-million pound film script in the making. I wonder if Paxo would get any nearer the truth?

That article it simply rumour and tittle tattle, seriously read it, try and understand the language it uses - please
it says nothing
And the McCann's sued the Mail - who then paid them a substantial amount
Tell me David, if you hired a car - would I find your DNA in it (not blood - DNA)
Show me where an official source says it
it says nothing

Sorry mate, been at work past few days.
Here is one link, I think there should be loads on google
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...swer--did.html
All of these questions should be easy to answer - unless you are trying to hide something. Bare in mind that the police, following their investigation, should know what the answer should be like "who did you tell" "who contacted the authorities"

The strange thing is why did she not answer these questions
If she had it would of surely helped the police woth any information possible to look and broaden their research
She should of been hysterical and atempted to answer them and why should she of even had a solicitor with her any way if she had done nothing wrong
More to the story then meets the eye

A little girl curled up and lifeless, alone and abandoned, clinging to the only thing from which she could derive any comfort, a soft toy called Cuddle Cat, whilst laying in a spot behind the sofa in Apartment 5a, where according to a specialist Victim Recovery Dog called Eddie, once lay the body of Madeleine McCann.

All this so called DNA evidence, that in reality does not exist
Now, take a look a the mail link - at the top of that article
The one which says "How the Portuguese police tried to force Gerry to confess with a DNA trap"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-DNA-trap.html
These are 8 year old articles full of rubbish, and for which the mail paid the McCann's a substantial amount of money for printing
So again - give some links
Here's one - as it was raised in the leveson enquiry
http://www.theguardian.com/media/201...ann-dna-police
Last November the Leveson inquiry heard how the Daily Express reported there was DNA evidence that could show the little girl's body had been stored in the spare tyre well of a hire car.
It turned out the analysis conducted in the UK was "inconclusive" and there was no foundation for making that allegation. Express Newspapers paid £550,000 damages to the McCann's in 2008 for inaccurate reporting by the Daily Express and the publisher's three other titles.
And the UK police, as stated to leveson knew this DNA Evidence was simply bollox
So give me links that are not peddling 8year old rumour and inuendo

Just for the record I think the Mccanns are completely innocent and Maddie's death was a horrific tragedy for them.
Yes they could be criticised for leaving her alone and, hand on heart, I can say that we would never have done that in a foreign or strange place. But I have been on a beach with a million kids playing in the surf 30 yards away and for a few seconds lost sight of one of the kids. I expect this has happened to most of us?
