I think it is actually the coast guard practising , rather than searching for cannabis farm
But for almost an hour in near nuff same place ?!
surely its not reasonable - its noisy

I used to regularly get woken up by the pork chopper flying low over the house (until I moved).
If a private helicopter was caught doing that over a densely populated area they'd be reprimanded and probably lose their license...but pork choppers? No, they can do whatever they like.
Seems the one that crashed in Glasgow was starved of fuel because the pilots ignored multiple warnings/alarms; says it all to me.

Could have beenn directing the land team or the lifeboat etc. There are many reasons why it would be, they are highly trained and even If just on excersise they have to carry out training etc, so a minor inconvenience to you with a bit of noise is worth it if they need to c ome rescue you...

Running a helicopter isn't cheap, they don't just go flying round for ****s and giggles.

Yes, they should not be flying the sodding things, all they do round here is chase kids on quads/scramblers across the playing fields, and scanning for the odd cannabis farm. Yeah real man hunts.
Waste of tax payers money.
Btw been burgled twice in twelve months....during the DAYTIME. Whats a helicopter going to do to stop that when it sucking up so much of the finances there aren't enough patrols on the ground for it to direct!?
