For example the things that pop up up on you tube...
My view? I want to throttle the company, not buy their products
In fact, feel like that about most adverts..Grrr

Can't say I particularly care. I tend to either skip them (Sky plus or YouTube) or use them as as opportunity to go do something else for 2 minutes. Really not worth getting excitable over.

There are not just annoying they tend to slow down the loading of web pages as well, that is the most annoying bit.
Read during the week that Yahoo was blocking people from accessing their email accounts if they had ad blocker software installed, others likely to follow.

TV ads are also getting ridiculous.
There is a Fixadent ad on that shows a woman standing on some dentures inside a giant CGI mouth. The mouth then bites down on a carrot & the dentures move around.
The thing is they have small print at the bottom of the screen pointing out that this is a 'dramatization'.
Well I was very releaved because up to then I thought it was a real woman inside a giants mouth or a tiny weeny woman inside a normal mouth!

Virgin have just "given" me another channel: FOX.
I've never seen such cr@p, they show repeats of American crime stuff all night, and each episode has on;ly 35-35 minutes of content, the other 24-25 minutes is advertising.
It's awful.
UK TV is becoming unwatchable.
All thanks to Lying Labour.........

The ads that utilize light box are probably the ones that get me the worst, as well as the inline videos that autoplay. FFS it even grinds down a brand new i7 PC to a jerky crawl when trying to scroll a page.
For that reason alone I do not visit the majority of newspaper websites as they are impossible to navigate smoothly/quickly even on a current high specification computer (i7, 8gig, SSD, win10) with a fast internet connection (120Mbps)
