Get that electricity meter going with the Xmas lights extravaganza :)
We do this every year but last year we didnt. My wife had her scooby stolen last november and frankly after that we were not in the mood for lights etc. But this year we are back and BIGGER
As usual my task was the outside and she did the inside (and when I mean, inside, I mean everything gets swapped out for xmasy stuff
So I give you the Swiss 2015 Xmas lights Extravaganza (sponsored by EON Energy and my wallet )
The Outside
As a special tribute this year to the Cola Truck my nutty wife decided to light up her car
And yes those are antlers and a red nose and all powered to the inside of the car !
The madness on the inside
Even the lego gets lights
hope you enjoy

Wow is all I can say.
I'm glad I'm not paying your electric bill over the xmas period !
I must be scrooge as I've been running around getting LED replacement bulbs in lights to lower my normal electricity consumption.

Looks pretty much like you really enjoy it so good on you, I'll send my missus round to take a look it'll save me putting any up lol.
i hear that they just switched on a new power station just for you.

The neighbours do love it and were excited for the big switch on.....as it meant they could turn all their lights off and save electricity
Do send your missus around to get some inspiration for your next job
The fuse box tripped last night, cant work out why

She does go to extremes and inside tons of stuff (read boring) gets put away and out comes the xmas replacements, be it kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or lounge. we have a mini tree in every room (even the downstairs loo)
But I told her enough is enough when I spotted this by the sink !!

I remember visiting a lady who displayed 12 Christmas trees every Christmas, cramped in her small living room. Someone else in her colony had a number of massive inflatable santas, snowmen and reindeers stumped up in their garden; in a voyage some pattern; as if they were in action in a static way . That house also had a window climbing Santa with his fat butt hanging out of his loose trousers. I must visit that area this Christmas, just for some amusement via my visual intake.

Yes, it could have easily been 'himself' and all those inflatable santas and snowmen could have been his authentically human family members; with reindeers being his real dogs etc. But you see, they weren't moving. But that could have been because it was really cold that time, so they could have been temporarily frozen in their garden. I was driving past, so it was only a sweeping look I could give to them, really. Next time I drive past, I'll stop outside their house and shout out loud- " Hey, are you all really real people, people ? Do you wanna cup of tea or something to warm up?" I reckon snowmen in particular will say "no, thanks", and I will understand.
