Default Paypals new verification process

Hello all, ive currently got an issue with my already verified and complete paypal account and im hoping someone on here has encountered it themselves.

Basically, ive received a fair bit of money into paypal from some items i sold on ebay. The money was paid in as soon as the items were bought, so essentially the buyer has done everything expected of them.

The money landed in my paypal account and went straight to pending, now i understand about the pending process and know that once the items are sent and a tracking number recorded on paypal the funds will be released shortly after, but whats stumped me is paypal have asked me to provide proof of identity, i sent a copy of my driving licence, proof of address, i sent pics of a log book showing it, i then confirmed all my personal info, but then it asked me to confirm or add a bank account, i tried to confirm my already verified bank account and card but for some unknown reason it wont let me take the next step in confirming it, the link takes me to wallet but wont go any further than the main screen.

Has anyone been through this hassle with them and did anyone have the same trouble as me?

All i want to do is get it sorted but im coming to the conclusion paypal dont want me to and are trying to keep hold of the funds as much as possible, 1 thing i do know is once this is sorted and my funds are released paypal can **** right off and itll be cash on collection for things from now on as this is way too much agro for what its worth.

probably not related to your problem, but ----

I had a similar problem recently (wanted to remove a Bank Account), and kept getting stuck. I swapped browsers (from IE10 to FireFox) and I was able to remove the account....

Get on the phone or just refund the seller and get them to send it again...worked in the past, they tried it with me and froze my account t after I had £11k go through it in a week but withdrew £10,700, a heated conversation later and they unblocked it the following day...so I withdrew the rest out, Pmsl

I don't keep any balance in there anymore and the reason they froze it was..."if there is a problem there is no cash in there to resolve it", this made me more angry lol, as I've had an account since 2001

Just a word of warning.I have been getting a few spam/phishing emails from so-called Paypal admins asking to verify bank & Paypal details.

Make sure they a genuine & don't click on any of the links they provide.

thanks for the info, hopefully I think it may have been sorted now, they're supposed to be charging me 2 small amounts from my account in the next couple of days and once they do i've got to give them the 4 digit code that shows on the statement. the thing is though I done this years ago to confirm my account back then, so why i'm having to do it now is beyond me.

yeah I've received a couple of these emails too, unfortunately though all this hassle is directly through the paypal website mate.
