Question Home stereo help needed

I am after a cheap small hifi that can stream music from my phone such as Deezer.

However i'm not sure whether cheap bluetooth systems will do this and will only stream locally stored music on the phone. The stereo on my car has no special setup just a simple bluetooth connection and streams deezer absolutely fine, I just want a home stereo system that can do the same.

I don't want to splash out on Sonos unless it's the only option.

So would something like this pick up streaming Deezer from my phone via bluetooth:

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd...04637-pdt.html

I will go to store and ask to try but just wondered if anyone here knows about streaming Deezer without dedicated players such as Sonos.

I have one of these - for my kitchen sound system

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/product...receiver-bm10/

Plugged in to an Amp (via phono leads)

My speakers are hard wired to the amp (I was able to place the speaker cable in the roof)

It works pretty well - simply stream media from any Bluetooth device

Or you could just get a Bluetooth speaker, loads out there. Go shop, currys etc and try them to confirm they work.
Bose, harmon kardon, sonos etc do them with excellent sound quality and pretty loud for a Bluetooth speaker.

Or above Bluetooth device if you already have hifi etc.

Honestly, a Sonos Play:1 is probably about your best bet.

Thanks for the replies but none have actually answered if that one i've linked to will do what I want. I don't have any other hifi equipment so i'm an after all in one job not individual components.

The Sonos stuff I like but for stereo sound I need 2 of them so between £250 to £300 for a pair which is more than I want to spend.

It says it's Bluetooth so I don't see why it couldn't do what you want

Essentially the same as my setup but all in one

The sonos controller app allows you to embed music services as required, so you can use any music source you fancy e.g Deezer/Spotify or any one of a multitude of other apps.

Checked it in the shop and worked a treat It looks bloody hideous granted but seems alright for the price. Tried some others at the same price and sounded a lot worse (tinny). Now it's a case of whether I open it and keep it or buy something a bit better but not as much as Sonos.

Cheers i've looked at portable speakers before but always been put off as I like the idea of the old fashioned all in one style of radio and cd player even if I probably won't use the cd player. That's why I went for the one above.

This looks good other than the speaker output which seems weak? All the Richer Sounds ones up to £150 are all only 15w output:

Cheers Busta, the Yamaha ones are too expensive for me though!

Well i'm happy with it, the dogs aren't but the budgie is dancing his nuts off so he likes it

When money allows i'll get something half decent but for now this is a cheap fix that does the trick.
