Default Any way to locate car home address via reg plate?

Long story short, I was hit in a car park while I was parked up with the engine off. The woman involved blatantly denied hitting me and after exhausting all possibilities with the insurance company, she has got away with it, leaving me to pay for the damages. I'm obviously livid. Can I locate the driver somehow?

If you really want to get stalking Facebook is good
Or call them up claiming to be their insurance and ask to confirm their address

Or hire a private I.

Go on Darkweb and put out a hit.

Or call them up, tell them your from the Nigerian lottery and you have £10,499,453,249,291,294.09 (dont forget the 9 pence, makes it legit) and you need to confirm their address to send the huge *** cheque a long with the Nigerian prince to congratulate them.

PS. Post their name and # here, for poops and gigs.

I have three questions for the OP:

1. Why did she stop and give you her phone no. and name if she was to end up denying it? She's not here so I can't ask her, but I'm just wondering as to why.
2. On what grounds was she freed of compensating? No witness, no cam etc.?
3. What will you do to her if you end up locating her?

Jesus Christ! What's happening to this forum, man?! Sometimes, the humour is lost on people here and dryly objected upon by the literalists, and sometimes, simple logical questions are an issue!

I don't know where that woman lives and the others have already said that he can Google her number. So, the OP doesn't require my help.

And yes, if I end up handing my opinion, why shouldn't I? Can't we just interact here without these digs? You all do blather some shyte and go round and round in circles sometimes with some utter nonsense, so why can't I ask him some simple questions?

Also, when exactly have I done something like this^ which forms your opinion of me as someone who 'must' comment and get answers to give opinion over several paragraphs? Provide the evidence to that, please. What's your problem?

Yes there is a perfectly legal way of getting an address provided you've got the reg number.

Release of another vehicle s keeper details

You can obtain the name and address of the registered keeper of a vehicle if you can show reasonable cause for needing the information.

Members of the public will need to complete form V888. Companies can either complete form VQ3 or apply in writing giving full details of the reason for the enquiry and the vehicle registration mark. Both forms are available from DVLA.

The fee for information at a specific date of event is 2.50 per vehicle. If further information is required, for instance, a copy of a document or additional keeper information, a fee of 5 is required per vehicle.

Send your application to: Vehicle Record Enquiries, Vehicle Customer Services, DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AJ.

It is an offence to unlawfully obtain personal data which is contrary to Section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1998. Unlimited fines in the Crown Court (or to a maximum of 5,000.09 in the Magistrates Court) exist as penalties in respect of these offences.
